The<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">main<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">objective<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">is<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">provisioning<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">e<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ff<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ectiveness<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cost-estimation<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">model<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">for<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">deploying<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">assistive<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">technology<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">solutions<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">elderly<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">care<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">intended<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">for<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">evaluation<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">showing speci<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">fi<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">city to the costs and associated bene<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">fi<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ts of providing smart technological<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">solutions for seniors.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Methods<\/strong>:<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The model uses demographic projections taken from Eurostat for EU countries and<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> the disability incidence from the annual report of the Ministry of Labour and Social A<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ff<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">airs of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Czech<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Republic<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">as<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">an<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">input.<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">model<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">was<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">implemented<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">software<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Stella <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Professional dedicated to system dynamics modelling.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Results<\/strong>:<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In relation to the combination of<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">fi<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ve assistive devices for the elderly the optimal<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">solution the cost savings are 37.8% or182 billion CZK, cumulatively in the simulated time<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">period 2021<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2013<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">2060. The model allows adjustments regarding price levels of various countries<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">through the caregivers<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2019<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">wage. Obtained results showed robustness of the model to this<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">uncertainty as percentage savings varied only from 37.6% to 39.8%, a mere 2.2% di<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ff<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">erence.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong>:<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">With respect to the ongoing demographic transition, the need to employ smart<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">device solutions should further increase and their price could decline.
